**Brexit Update**

Following the end of the Brexit transition period and the UK’s full departure from the European Union on 31st December 2020, customers in European countries may now be required to pay import duties and VAT for British products.

Please check with your countries regulator before placing an order as the rules vary between each country. Customers are liable to pay all import duties, taxes and other charges directly to the courier or their local customs office.

Unfortunately the information provided by many authorities is not yet clear and therefore we cannot confirm exactly which countries this applies to but what we do know is that the general rules are as follows:

Orders placed by EU customers up until June 2021 will be exempt from VAT and duty if the value is less than €22. Import VAT and duty is payable on consignments with a value of more than €22.

In our experience, orders below this value can also be subject to VAT and import duties so we urge customers from the EU to check this with your authorities first.

We are doing our best to find more information to make your purchase easier and keep you informed but in the meantime please ensure that you fully understand your local import regulations and your customs obligations before placing an order.

**COVID-19 Update**

At Omvits we want to keep you regularly informed about all domestic and international deliveries out of the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic. As cases have begun to rise in many countries worldwide, our shipping policies may change more regularly than usual. 

Despite most domestic services running on normal time-frames, we are noticing some delays within the UK. The majority of international couriers and services are still being affected from earlier this summer with the reduction of air travel, a large backlog of mail and cargo shipments and changes to transport procedures (e.g. various border controls) as well as changes in delivery procedures in the destination country.

Globally, online purchases have increased significantly during this period as more people shop from the comfort and safety of their own homes and therefore most couriers are receiving higher than usual demand for this time of year. 

Whilst we are still seeing most deliveries reaching within their specified time-frame, delays are very possible and we do ask for your patience in receiving orders. Due to this we have to wait until the following times before being able to mark orders as lost or damaged in transit and issuing replacements.  

  • UK Orders - 14 days after the expected delivery date
  • International Orders - 31 days after the expected delivery date

Customs & Country Regulations

Please check with your country’s import and customs department regarding the import of products. As an importer, you may be required to pay customs and duties charges and are responsible for following the laws and regulations on import of goods in your country.

You are responsible for any import restrictions, prohibited items, taxes, duties, other charges related to the importation of goods as well as return shipping in the event of a return. 

In the event of your order being rejected by your local customs office and it being returned to us, we will refund the amount of the order minus shipping fees upon receipt of the order provided the products are unopened and in a saleable condition. We will not be able to process refunds for goods which are damaged in customs, seized, destroyed etc. 

Orders that are seized by your local customs cannot be refunded.

Occasionally packages can be held for a longer than normal period by customs officials and in this case it is the customs responsibility to contact the local office to receive status updates.


Duties & Taxes

We currently ship all packages with DDU (delivery and duties UNPAID). This means your package is usually delivered by local mail carrier at the final destination or you may be required to collect the parcel from the postal facility directly. Your mail carrier may or may not charge duties and taxes.

We do not collect taxes and duties during checkout and therefore you are responsible for paying these if you are required to do so. If you have questions regarding how/when duties and taxes are charged, we advise contacting your Customs office directly (some links are provided below).


Incorrect Address

If the shipping address on your order is incorrect, please note that we cannot change the delivery address after an order has been shipped. Please know that we work directly with our shippers to help resolve address issues when possible, but we cannot be held responsible for any delays, fees, or other delivery issues if you've made an error in the shipping information on your order.

If such an error causes an order to be rejected, lost or destroyed, we cannot issue a refund or replacement of any kind. If the error causes the order to be sent back to us, you may be responsible for return shipping fees and we’ll only be able to refund you for the cost of the merchandise only.


Package Loss

Although it is rare for international orders to get lost or delayed, please be aware that it can happen. Due to the import clearance process in your country and depending on the shipping method you chose, international orders can take up to 35 business days to clear customs.

An international order will not be considered ‘lost’ until 35 business days from the date of shipment. We are unable to process claims until 35 business days period has passed.

In the event your order has been lost, you must contact our customer support department at and report it as lost to us within 60 calendar days of date of purchase. Depending on your location, courier selection, and any history of similar problems, we’ll work to help resolve this issue.

Orders that haven't been reported within 60 calendar days will not be eligible for refund. 


Important notice for customers from Australia and Canada

Customers purchasing from Australia or Canada have local customs restrictions on the import of vitamins & supplements for personal use. These countries allow customers to import a maximum of 3-months supply of supplements.

If you purchase more than a 3-month supply and your order is seized by customs, we are unable to issue a refund on your order.
