Why?

Millions of people around the world are moving towards vegetarian and vegan diets, or simply trying to reduce the amount of animal products they consume.

Aside from the animal cruelty issues, It's one of the best ways to reduce our environmental impact.

We want to support anyone already on a plant-based diet or making the transition.

What have we done?

We've ensured that all of our products will always be 100% vegan with no hidden animal products. We check every last ingredient and are registered with The Vegan Society.

How can we improve?

We're constantly looking for plant-based alternatives to ingredients that are traditionally animal-sourced. We're sure that there are plenty more that we haven't discovered yet!

Why?

We expect a certain level of quality from the products our families consume, so why would we expect any less from our customers?

What have we done?

We've ensured that all our products are manufactured to globally recognised standards and every batch is independently tested for quality and purity.

All our founders use the products themselves and give them to their loved ones.

How can we improve?

We're keeping a close eye on breakthroughs in the industry, so we can continuously improve our products with better ingredients, packaging or processes.

In fact, we've recently upgraded our Omega-3 manufacturing process, so our oil is purer than it's ever been!

Why?

Protecting the planet begins with the decisions we make day-to-day.

Being conscious of environmental impact isn't just about the product itself, but also the packaging and processes that we use.

What have we done?

We've recently ditched our plastic pouches and introduced a 100% plastic-free alternative.

We've also made certain products which didn't need a plastic bottle, available only in this new eco-friendly packaging.

Not only is it plastic-free, it's also marine degradable, compostable and biodegradable!

The plastic bottles that do remain are made from PET plastic which has an excellent eco-profile regarding greenhouse emissions and energy use. It is also fully recyclable.

Our postage materials are forestry commission certified and responsibly sourced.

How can we improve?

We want to get as close to zero-plastic as we possibly can.

In order to achieve this, we are looking at alternative forms of packaging for our remaining bottled products.

Why?

We think that sustainable, plant-based alternatives will never make an impact in the world unless people are able to afford them.

That's why we want to make it affordable for people to make the switch to our products.

What have we done?

We've used premium ingredients such as algae-based Omega-3, Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin and Vitamin D3 from Lichen and offered them at a non-premium price. 

How can we improve?

We've got some exciting products coming soon and we'll be offering the same premium quality at a fair price.

Also as manufacturing costs come down, we'll be passing the savings onto our customers.

Why?

Whether it's a supplier, customer or competitor, we believe that everyone deserves a certain level of respect and kindness when dealing with Omvits.

What have we done?

We've made sure that every email or review that we receive is read by at least one member of the founding team and responded to personally.

Customer service in particular is super important to us, so making sure our customers are happy is right at the top of our priority list.

We also have great relationships with all our suppliers and have gone out of our way to meet them personally.

How can we improve?

There are many causes that we care about, so it's important that we make a contribution wherever we can - however small it may be. 

What have we done?

Malnutrition is the #1 cause of preventable child deaths.

We've partnered with the charity Vitamin Angels to support them in bringing life-changing vitamins to at-risk populations around the world.

So far, we've provided vitamins to over 25,000 children and aim to help at least 1,000 more every month in 2021.

How can we improve?

We would love to get involved with ocean conservation charity partners and make Omvits a real force for good in the world.
